In-Progress

Here is an in-progress picture of one of the personal pieces I've been working on. I posted the sketch a while ago, but I've started painting it.

More Extra-Life Painting

Here is another acrylic & oil on 9" x 12" canvas that I did today. I'm really enjoying the extra-life painting sessions. They're really relaxing.

Second Year Paintings

Here are a couple of paintings from second year Painting class with Katherine. I learned so much from her classes last year, and I miss having classical painting classes. I'm going to try and go to extra-life painting often, though.

Both paintings are acrylic on canvas. The still-life measures 18" x 20" and the model painting measures 18" x 24"

Extra-Life Painting II

Another extra-life painting session from last Saturday. This one is acrylic and oil on 12" x 12" wood panel.

Extra-Life Painting

I went to the extra-life painting session on Saturday. I had a wood panel laying around that I "toned" for a painting I was going to create, but I used it for the session because I had nothing else handy.

I was actually really excited to paint and feel bad that there's so separate classical painting course this year.

Anyway, I had to leave early so this is about an hour and a bit of painting. It's unfinished, but I feel even with the three full hours I still wouldn't have been finished.

I used acrylic on 16" x 20" wood panel.

Zoo Sketches

I really wanted to update this, so here are some recent sketches from a trip to the zoo on the weekend. I didn't get as much sketching in as I had hoped too, but it was much busier than I thought it would be.

The second picture is of a guy that was sitting at one of the cafe's. He had nice earrings.

Anyway, it's always nice to sketch animals for a change.

Vote For Juicy

I have submitted my piece juicy on the Infectious website for iPod, iPhone and laptop skins.
