Fourth Year Project Revamp (Designer Fabric Outlet)

Re-design of a Graphic Design class project during first semester of fourth year. This is a little over a year old so I decided to revamp the previous back-side of the business card.

This project involved re-designing the logotype for the fabric company Designer Fabric Outlet on Queen Street West, upscaled to look like it could belong on Bloor. We were then to complete a business card for the company to go along with this new image.

I decided the previous design was too messy in terms of the days of the week, and times the store was open. There are too many design devices being used and it was cluttered. I still very much like the look and feel of the front of the card so I left it be.

The old design is the first image, and the revamped version is the second image.

Moby Dick by Hermin Melville - Book Cover

This is a book cover design I just created for Hermin Melville's classic novel Moby Dick. There was a 1956 film adaptation of the novel starring Gregory Peck. This cover is supposed to accompany the release of a more recent 2012 film adaptation, using inspiration from current movie promo posters and novel covers.

Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell - Book Cover

Decided to create a revamped book cover of an old classic and chose Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

Madonna CD Cover - MDNA

I recently read Madonna's new album will be called MDNA, so I thought I'd find a funky picture and design a cover for it. I thought MDNA sounded cool, a mix of Madonna and DNA, so I stylized it mDNA and voila. I whipped this up in about 5 minutes, the idea just came to me.
