I've chosen to create a menswear lookbook/catalogue for Gap Inc. clothing retailer Banana Republic for Visual Narrative class. I'm doing the graphic design layout, as well as designing new branding materials such as logo, hangtag and shopping bags. In addition I am creating technical flat illustrations/creative fashion illustrations of garments in four catagories: Comfort Casual, Professional Poise, Stylish Sophistication and Fearless Finesse. I'm juxtaposing a rough-and-ready traditional drawing/painting style throughout the book, contrasting with the clean-cut look of the technical illustrations and actual Banana Republic garments.Here are the four fashion illustrations I have created for the project.
